Details remain sparse about the game, but all signs point to the title being God of War: Ragnarok. Sony has released a number of hints that the game will deal with the mythological event, and the end of 2018's God of War foreshadowed a battle between Kratos and Thor. The title is expected to release on PS5 in 2021.
There is some further spice to the story though, in that it's actually been possible to play God of War at checkerboard 4K 60fps since day one of the PlayStation 5's hardware launch.

As shared in Santa Monica Studio's tweet shown above, God of War Ragnarok comes with a variety of graphics options for both PS5 and PS4 consoles. Whether on PS5 you're prioritising high resolution, 60FPS, or even frame rates even higher, there's no need to worry as God of War Ragnarok appears to cover a wide manner of performance.

I used to be in your shoes, and then I started playing 60 fps PS5 updates to previously 30 fps base PS4 games (such as FF7 Remake and God of War) and the controls just felt so much more responsive. Many games have benefitted from a PS5 patch. Ever since the release of the PlayStation 5 in 2020, fans have been calling for a new-gen patch by FromSoftware. First-party Sony titles such as God of War (2018), Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us: Remastered, as well as Part 2 and Days Gone, have all benefited from a free PS5 patch. LGGL.
